Frequently Asked Questions
What Does a PSYCH-K® session involve?
During your PSYCH-K® session your Facilitator will explore with you in depth the current issue that you wish to work on. You will then decide, with the support of your Facilitator, which ‘balances’ will be most helpful to support you to make the desired changes around your particular issue. A ‘balance’ in PSYCH-K® is the process that is used to help you to transform a negative subconscious belief into a positive one, or to help you to address a fear or difficult memory. PSYCH-K® uses a process called muscle testing, which can be done both in person or online. Your Facilitator will explain all about the balance process/muscle testing in your session.
How do I prepare for a PSYCH-K® session?
Prior to your session you will be sent a number questions to think about. You will be asked to identify the issue(s) that you wish to work on in PSYCH-K®, and to consider how you would prefer this situation or condition to be different in the future. You will be asked to think about anything that may be preventing you from addressing this issue, and to also consider how you will know when your desired outcome has been achieved.
How does PSYCH-K® work?
When someone is in a state of stress the brain is in what we call a ‘split-brain’ state. This means that the left and right hemispheres of the brain are not able to communicate effectively. The balance process in PSYCH-K® enables the brain to resume a whole brain state when focusing on a challenging situation, memory or belief, so that the there is communication between the brain hemispheres and thus a greater sense of internal ‘harmony’ is restored. PSYCH-K® balances create a receptive, whole-brain state, which helps to reduce resistance to making desired changes that you would like in your life. Please refer to our PSYCH-K® page for further information.
How many sessions will I need?
This will depend upon the issue(s) that you wish to work on. Some people like to work on several issues in PSYCH-K®, or to use it as a tool for continued development over a long period of time. Other people wish to focus only on one problem area. Often great progress can be made in a short space of time. We recommend having at least three sessions to allow plenty of time to talk through your current difficulties, and to also allow sufficient opportunity to address these using the PSYCH-K® process.
How long does a PSYCH-K® session last?
It is helpful to initially meet for a 90-minute session, to gain a full understanding of the current issue that you wish to work on and to identify any specific changes that you wish to make. After the initial session, further appointments will generally last for 60 minutes.
Are PSYCH-K® sessions in person or online?
PSYCH-K® sessions can be done either online or in person. At EVOLVE we currently offer online sessions only.
How much does a PSYCH-K® cost?
The initial 90-minute session is charged at £150, and follow-up 60-minute sessions are charged at £120. We also offer specialist PSYCH-K® packages. Please see under the ‘Book Session’ tab for more information about the pricing of these packages.
What do I do following a session?
During your PSYCH-K®session, you and your Facilitator will agree upon any particular action steps that you would like to take, in order to help to facilitate and support any desired changes that you wish to make in your life. PSYCH-K® ‘frees up’ the subconscious mind to support change, and then action steps help to consolidate these changes, making them a reality in our lives.
